Surrounded by doubt, grief, and the weight of his own choices, he turns back to the one place that has always given him freedom, the floor. As rhythm and movement collide with real world pressure, he must decide whether to play it safe or step fully into who he was meant to be.

"I wrote and directed I’m Housin’ during one of the hardest chapters of my life. I had been knocked down more times than I could count, I had lost things that mattered, and I was wrestling with who I was supposed to be. This film is my way of turning that pain into something honest, something that could give people hope and maybe a reason to keep going, If you see yourself anywhere in this film, then it did what it was meant to do. "

"Fang Jackson was born from conversations I had with my grandfather about his young adult life in 1940s San Francisco. I wanted to present a film that felt honest, uncomfortable, dark and grounded in emotion, we pushed to make something that hits you in the chest, I can't wait to for you to see what we built."
